You want to compare schedules, then let's compare schedules.
In 2008 Florida and Georgia were highly ranked and Ole Miss was the first west team (not Alabama) at #14. The only west team ranked were Ole Miss and Alabama.
In 2009 it was Alabama at #1 and the next west team was LSU at #17.
Your first year you have a case would be 2010. Auburn at #1, LSU at #8, Arkansas AT #12. but then Alabama did not do well at #10. (relatively speaking)
In 2017 there was Alabama #1, Georgia #2 and Auburn (who we both play) at #10.
In 2018 we had Alabama at #2, LSU at #6 but Florida was at #7 and we played Florida and LSU that year. Kentucky was #12.
In 2019 LSU was #1 (we played them in the SECCG), Florida was #6,
Explain to me how Alabama's schedule was so much harder in those years and Georgia's was some piece of cake?
