I hope you’re wrong. This is exactly what I want to avoid.

I think that’s why they pulled the trigger early. I think they go for the solid X’s and O’s guy who has done more with less.


Why now? What went wrong the last time? I guess you better step up and tell the AD no flashy hire and get someone that is an up-and-coming coach.

Jimbo to A&M was an opportunity to land a national title winner who was unhappy where he was.

Before that:

Sumlin wasn’t a huge name. He was an up and comer who had done well at smaller schools.

Sherman wasn’t a huge name.
He was a known commodity and not flashy but a badass OL coach.
