It's Midnight Yell or whatever the proper term is
In fact, the milkmen stuff is among the cringiest things in America, period, football tradition or otherwise. And I say this as someone who respects A&M and has a family full of Ags. I also like traditions, of which A&M has many rich, meaningful ones.
If you strip away all of your SEC loyalties and familiarity with A&M generally and watch one, it's one of the most bizarre, uncomfortable things to witness. I often think "there's just no way it was always like this." I absolutely cannot believe the prior decades' iterations of corps/yell stuff was as absurdly homoerotic as this stuff.

quote:Yell Practice is fun, and I like the unique nature of the Yell Leaders, but I readily admit that I have hated from Day One that silly-assed way that the Yell Leaders hop around when they are telling a story. The way that they hang all over one another is pretty damned weird, too. Honestly, I don't remember the latter being a part of the schtick back when I was a student.
