I heard someone mention they thought he had just switched in for Everette for good as the starter right before the injury. Was that the case? If so, I didn’t realize.

It looked that way to me althoguh there's no way to really know. Last week against missouri's excelelnt passing he started getting a lot more snaps and played really well. To start on Saturday daylen was getting beat a little bit then got benched in favor of humphrey. As for whether it was permanent or a "let's see what happens" deal, who knows. I believe it was on taht same drive that he got hurt.
