Oh for pete's sake, people actually go to lunch at Bolton on gamedays? Is that literally a thing?

-idk if "people" do.
-I have only done it once in my life and enjoyed it. Largely for nostalgia but also for the value
-I'll have a ton of time to kill saturday so why not

Haven't done it on a gameday, but did it while killing time between meetings in Athens this past Summer. Was an absolute clutch move.

I had all my meals there, on the meal plan, breakfast lunch and dinner, for a year, while I was incarcerated in Russel Hall. I forgot my student ID one day and had to pay for my turkey sandwich with cash and it was $8. In 1996.

An $8 turkey sandwich in 1996 would be like a $25 turkey sandwich today.

So, I don't feel the "value" signal of eating there. Has Bolton lowered their prices?

If you have time to kill, and lsuhobnail is inviting you to his tailgate with shrimp and whatnot, what excuse do you have? You pride yourself on meeting up with board members at games. Keep that going.

Bolton is for the birds.
