Leonard, Stingley, Chase, etc. The list is long of LSU quitters. They either sit out entire seasons or just mail it in protecting draft stock.
None of their players give a damn about the LSU program.
Only Florida comes close. Their whole team usually opts out the bowl game for the last 5 years or so.
It's why LSU will never be amongst the top echelon of programs. There is no real prestige attached to playing there. It doesn't mean anything.

Will most likely become more common. Hell, I had great freshman and sophomore years and for the first 5 games of this season I've been lights out. I'm getting out now and not risk a career ending/draft stock lowering injury.
Why should a draft eligible player wait until some meaningless bowl to opt out?
