You could watch a movie? I mean, you find it entertaining to see a fluke win for a team than to see good, hard fought football? To each his own, I guess. I want to see the best teams battle it out. I am not interested in seeing blowouts time after time. When you average one blowout a year in the playoffs with the top 4 teams you will see a bunch more if you expand the field.

No, but I want to see them play, and don't care a hoot about the Phillies. I mean, did you get entertained by the Rangers/Diamondbacks series? But, baseball and football are totally different, and I would even say that college football and the NFL is totally different. Why make them clones?

Last year we could have been awed with a 4 loss Utah team playing in the playoffs. A 3 loss FSU or a 3 loss USC.

How about a 2 loss (in the PAC 12) Washington? Dude. You are looking at some high level, boring blowouts. If we beat TCU by 50+ what do you think OSU, Michigan or Georgia would have done to 4 loss teams? THAT'S what you are advocating for. Younge people don't learn lessons. They want change because they think it is better. (NIL, Transfer Portal) The problem is...once you get those changes and find they are not good it is almost impossible to turn back the clock.
