College football. It has happened before.

Right. That needs to change. Thankfully it is because its idiotic.

So, you think Alabama, LSU and Georgia are going to sweat the playoffs when they are expanded to 12 teams? OSU and Michigan? Who cares if you lose a game or two? The # 10,11 and 12 ranked teams has 3,3 and 4 losses last year. The # 11 and 12 teams had 3 and 4 losses two years ago. Lose 4 games? no problem. You still go to the playoffs.

The New York Giants won the superbowl after finishing 9-7. If teams drop a game or two in the early season, then win out who knows.

Look at 2012. You had 5-6 teams just in the SEC that were playoff worthy. LSU, Georgia, Alabama, Texas A&M, and Florida.

Every year I bet you can go and find a 2-3 loss team that got hot at the end of the year.

So you are glued to hockey, basketball and baseball early rounds? When half the teams make the playoffs? "Everybody gets a trophy!" Hooray.

Yes. The NHL playoffs are some of the most intense games in any sport.

Why? All conferences are not created equal. the past few years it would have been criminal to put a PAC 12 champion in over a second SEC team with one loss. I am all about having the best teams playing not some pseudo pretender. That's how we get all the blowouts.

One or two? or three or four, you mean? Do you want some fluke team that happens to get hot to win, or do you want the best team to win?

This just shows you are biased. no South Carolina? They were ranked ahead of Florida. And you think a #14 LSU deserved to be in the playoffs? They wouldn't have made the 12 team playoff.

Fine. Then watch them and quit ruining college football with all of your "great" ideas.
College football was doing just fine, then along came playoffs, NIL, Transfer Portal etc and interest and viewership is waning. Just a few more changes and we can call it officially dead.
