Really in the 22 draft I would have went skill position. In hindsight even at the time I liked London, Wilson and Olave. So any of the 3 would have been fine but I'm still taking a wr there. In the second round I would have went Georgia and taken Pickens and Cook. Either way they did a good job building g the defense in the off-season. As far as rbs go. You need atleast 2 or 3 sharing carries. To say you don't take 1 in round 1 is wrong. A running game and good backs are very important. You draft for need.

Who was the last team to win anything of significance with a 1st round RB? Go ahead, I'll wait. As good as Barkley is, he hasn't made a damn bit of difference in the Giants W-L record. Taking him at #2 overall was astronomically stupid. This is real life, not fantasy football. Ezekiel Elliott had a 1600 yard rookie season. You know who else did the same thing for Dallas? DeMarco Murray, two years before that. That's because their offensive line was the best in football, not because of the RBs.

Kansas City drafted CEH in the first round and then had him as a healthy scratch while 7th round Isiah Pacheco and former Georgia Southern QB Jerick McKinnon carried the load at RB. Taking a RB in the 1st round is stupid and a ridiculous waste of resources.

NFL running games are entirely dependent on OL play and offensive scheme and have very little to do with the runner himself. The Falcons had one of their best running games this season against Tampa Bay, and Robinson had a total of 1 carry for 3 yards in that game.

Robinson is fun to watch, but he really hasn't made much of a difference in the team's record this season. RBs are a dime a dozen. That's why they're having problems getting second contracts.

If you take a skill player in the top 10, he needs to be a game changer. London isn't that. Also, Garrett Wilson has had even worse QB play than Pitts and London have and he's still better. Wilson is explosive and is a threat to score anytime he touches the ball. London is a threat to gain 12 yards.

Smart teams draft for talent and use free agency to fill holes.
