Sunk cost fallacy definition: The phenomenon whereby a person is reluctant to abandon a strategy or course of action because they have invested heavily in it, even when it is clear that abandonment would be more beneficial.

It's clear to me that Fontenot is a sunk cost. Drafting is BY FAR the most important part of a GM's job and he has been utterly abysmal in that department.

Three straight years of dogshit drafting following the previous GM who never met a contract extension he didn't like to give out.

Crippling salary cap problems compounded by all of the cheap talent sucking is why the Falcons are what they are. Letting this bum stack the roster with a fourth straight dogshit draft won't fix anything.
