The discourse here is a bit weird. Rylan Griffen was our best defender realistically. He was elite on the ball at times, but he was also inconsistent, especially when his assignment worked off the ball a lot. Having said that, the defensive woes were mostly due to the lack of a true rim protector (Nelson had spurts but incredibly inconsistent) and the lack of length from surrounding help defenders.
