Settlements reached out of court can, of course, be secret but anybody can subscribe to Alacourt and access the basic court information like filings, hearing dates, pleadings, etc. It's not secret at all, they are public records. If you don't want to subscribe to Alacourt you can walk down to the county courthouse, come off $15, and walk out the door with a copy of any divorce certificate you want.
