Word is that the Hunts specifically won't give much to football a) because they love hoops and 2) because th2y know Pittman is not a good HC and don't eat to piss away $$ in wasted investments.
If a really badass FB coach were ever hired who the Hunts saw as legit, they would pony up bigly, just like they currently do in bball.
Arkansas hoops probably has top 3-5 NIL in the nation. Football supposedly has more than ppl think, but not nearly enough to actually compete.
If a Chadwell or Jonathan Smith took the helm, Hunts would probably start dropping many more bags for FB.
Also, the university seems to openly and purposefully do a shitty job promoting and aligning NIL. There really are no non-billionaire collectives like Ole Miss and many others have.
Justin Moore could be out there giving a 'free' concert every year that requires a $50 'donation"to NIL funding, but he's jot doing anything of the sort. That's telling. No one has any longterm faith in Pittman.
They know he was a stop-gap and that's it.
