Not the best player on the best team. Take out Caleb Williams and give Jayden Daniels the credit he deserves.

That happens sometimes (RGIII, Tebow) but you have to be far and away better than the pack and Daniels isn't.

He might be, but the award is no longer about the best player. I Daniel’s certainly should be in the conversation but since the defense is historically bad the media isn’t even talking about Daniels
