Will is fine short term but Burnip may be the best punter in the nation. We need to get him healthy by UT game or very latest LSU after the bye. Can’t remember the last time we lost a punter to injury. I don’t think he even got hit. Just pulled something kicking. Terrible luck.

apparently he pulled a muscle attempting to make the tackle on that punt... As Coach said last week, "I dont want the kickers to make tackles" this was in response to a presser ? about Talty's tackle on the KO return.
Maybe Burnip was trying to one up Talty?.. anyway, Burnip it the holder for Will on PAT and FG's hope that doesnt cost the team during crunch time and when there is a real need for a 1 or a 3

Oh I agree completely.

If Koolaid would stop fumbling punts we probably have the best special teams unit in the country with Burnip healthy.

Burnip has flipped the field on teams repeatedly while the offense was sputtering to give the defense some breathing room and that’s a huge advantage to have in a close game.
