This is so overblown. Milroe had plenty of clean pockets against Texas. A good QB should have the ball out in under 2.5 seconds on most plays. Our line is not that bad - these QBs are hanging onto the ball.

There are some plays where each quarterback has held it too long, but the line really is terrible. I rewatched the USF game. They actually did alright protecting Buchner, but once Simpson came in they were losing badly on quite literally every single snap. Many of his sacks he had barely completed his drop. The line looked completely gassed by the mid second quarter despite the long weather delay.
