Watch again carefully and tell me what you think - before heading OB (and getting hit) he was switching the ball from his right hand (boundary side) to his left, to try to throw a left-handed forward pass to Jarquez behind defender (#8). A poor decision, and poor attempt at Nick to Sammie. He just tried to do too much. Not smart. It seems he was more worried about going out of bounds on 3rd down, and unaware of # 53 closing fast.

He was trying to stretch for the first down marker and was hit and fumbled. It wasnt a pass

That’s exactly what I thought. Just fumbled as he was starting to stretch it out.
Also they should have had a hold called on their first Field Goal. Just like before the half.

Yep Freeze knows how to work officials. Comes in handy in close games. That is not a call the officials will make very often, so Freeze's bitching saved us 3 points.
