I see four possibilities -

1) Florida continues to flounder and gets fed up enough with Napier to justify his buyout

2) Sark shits the bed at Texas again and gets fired

3) A&M finishes with 8 or less wins and fires Jimbo

4) Elko is the rare coach who is happy where he is and wants to stay at Duke

Elko is the type to wait and pick the right fit for him. Had multiple opportunities to leave while DC at A&M, before picking Duke.

Elko played for Penn, and has spent most of his coaching career at Fordham, Richmond, Hofstra, Wake Forest, and Notre Dame.

The man is very comfortable at private schools with strong academics. I would not be surprised in the least if he stays at Duke for the long haul. If anyone is going to poach him away, I'd keep an eye on the Notre Dame job.
