One thing is for sure, A&M ain't winning shite. Defenses will key in on Wegman and stop the run.

You obviously did not watch the game. He was blitzed all night...and made them pay. When defenses blitz there are always mismatches and if the QB is able to read them and react accordingly it usually proves successful.
Granted, his true test will come against Miami. We shall see.

You do realize, they whipped the SEC west champs arse last year. On the field. With a freshman QB. And mostly freshman playing on both sides of the ball.

And that QB is a sophomore as is most of the team. So, it remains to be seen what they will do.

But this team has already proven they can beat LSU.

I don't think you appreciate the level of talent Jimbo has assembled there. Now that he's stepped aside and they have competent play calling they could make a run at the West. Now, I didn't watch their game and their defense needs to improve from last season. I'm not sure how they will stack up defensively this year, but if any team has the talent to go toe to toe with Bama it's probably A&M in the West.
