Under the old rules ND wins 63-6 instead of 42-3. That’s supposed to be better?

Just moving closer to NFL game length. If you’re down 21 in the fourth you’re probably not winning anyway and the loss is just drawn out.

Michigan led the country in 4th quarter scoring at 12.9 last year. I think the only season with a higher average the last 20 years was Houston in 2008 at 13.8.

Yes, there’ll be fewer plays and shorter games which will mean fewer 35 point wins and more 25 point wins.

You know, I completely forgot about this when I was predicting UGA's offense would set team records this year. The reality is they might on a per play basis, but this could make it not have as much per game.
