This story is a national news story because of Matt Leinart’s opinion. That’s why this thread started. The fact that you need to comment on a thread you don’t agree with says it all.

Well, BigNastyRetard, you’re on record as stating you believe defense and special teams don’t matter when discussing “the greatest team ever,” which is perhaps the most mind numbingly stupid thing I’ve ever read.
So, there’s that.
Leinart, who is on record as having never watched game film, posted this nonsense to his personal Twitter feed. It got so little interaction from fans that he posted it a second time 2 days later. It is not a “national news story.”
I’m not sure why I would have expected you to click on a fricking link before sharing your opinion about the information contained in the link. That was dumb of me.
So, there’s that.
