what's funny is other fans telling us abotu our rival hierarchy. Our biggest rival is tech. People need to understand a couple things.

-A shcool's "biggest rival" isn't changing. It doesn't flip and flop and blow in the breeze based on how good the schools are. It is permanent. Never ending. Unchanging.
-The fact that tech currently sucks is irrelevant, considering point #1 above.
-We have a long, deep, illustrious history with tech which has only somewhat recently disappeared with their suckiness
-They are easily our 2nd most played opponent wiht games dating back to 1893. We have the proximity and history with them

Schools have varying periodsd of what I call "nemeses". In the 80s UGA/Clemson was a damn war and abotu as intense as you could get. The 90s things with UF and UT really took off, mostly due to them kicking our arse regularly. There was a very brief time in the early '10s when some of our younger fans would tell you SC was our "biggest rival" lol. As of late Alabama has filled the role as public enemy #1. All of that is fine and does make some logical sense, but it doesn't change who our biggest rival is.

I mean think about how illogical it is taht a school's "BIGGEST RIVAL" can change based on the age of who you ask. If you ask a really young person now they'd say alabmaa. Someone in their 30s would probably say UF. Someone in the 40s/50s may say Auburn. Really old folks may say tech. Noneof that changes who the school's actual rival is.
