Were you just as surprised to see all those recruits from Baton Rouge going to the Crimson Tide over the decades?

Your comparison is poor. To say Foley is a "Bama school" is an understatement. Foley has produced five NFL players, and four of those five NFL players went to Bama. All four of the players were all conference selections and three of them were all-Americans. Furthermore, two of these four players are considered to be some of the best to ever don the Crimson and White and are undisputed Bama football legends. We aren't talking about scrubs or benchwarmers here.

Conversely, I can't think of a single Bama football player from Baton Rouge, although I can think of a couple of players who are from the area.

So yeah, I was very surprised to see a Foley football player commit to Auburn.

And the barn has been pulling recruits from South Alabama for decades.
