It's obviously too late now but if you have any other children I HIGHLY recommend freshman college. The last thing I wanted to do the summer after my senior year was start classes early but it was the best decision my parents made.

Got to move in early, with only a few floors of students in Russell and take 2 classes of credits. It's a good way to ease into the college experience because there are not as many people and you get to meet everyone in classes or at the SLC or whatever. That's how I met about 5 of my future unbeknownst pledge brothers.
