People overcomplicate this discussion. Clemson and FSU are home runs and would easily be welcomed. Cultural and geographic fits with powerhouse title winning football teams that would be a marquee game on any schedule. Of course they are in.
Beyond that we take a NC and VA school depending on which ones choose the Big Ten (NC or NC St, UVA or VaTech).

We can't even figure out how to make 16 teams work and people are talking about going to 20.

The problem with adding FSU and Clemson is the schedule is already stupid hard
Need decent brands that when are winning are respectable but not heavyweights
