Everett Teaford will join Coach Thompson's staff. He will be the 3rd assistant and serve as the pitching coach. The pitching coach job was left vacate by the resignation of Scheonrock who left to be closer to his family in Memphis.
Teaford is a former MLB pitcher who was currently working for the Chicago White Sox in their player development. He has also spent time with MLB as a scout.

Name sounds like he's from London. Does he know how to play Crickett?

Resume looks good, but I don’t know him from Adam.

Butch is the real pitching coach. Can this guy recruit top talented pitchers and follow the program. We have lost way too many top 10 pitchers from the state over the past 5 years. A lot hasn’t worked out at other places and some of the further down the rankings have for Butch but it’s hard to pass on some kids coming out of high school throwing 95 that needs some development
