Alabama welcomed Arkansas into the SEC either Sept or Oct of 1992, before the game in War Memorial Stadium, with this beautiful song we'd only heard a few times in person in our history (but alot of times on TV)

LINK

Bama's band and fans were in the south end zone of War Memorial, as the Bammers shook their pom pons during the drum snares to begin Rammer Jammer, or that song is called

Arkansas fans were mainly silent, in awe of that great program being in our home finally, and a smile on everyone's face knowing we were rid of the Southwest Conference

We were respectful and silent as we admired the greatness of the Alabama fight song being played in that packed stadium

it beat the shite out of the Aggie "war" hymn we'd seen before

Those little Alabama cheerleaders dancing on the grass sure didn't hurt things much either
