I was at that game. I was also at the 1968 51-0 beatdown. When I was growing up I would regularly attend the WLOCP and never once encountered a nasty Florida fan.
Clemson, however...not much to like about their fans. Nasty people.
My only other negative experience with opposing fans happened in Tallahassee. I don't care for FSU one bit.

A beatdown in the pouring rain! I wasn't there, but they announced the final score at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum where I was watching USC defeat California. I was the only one (naturally) to stand and shout, "glory!". People turned around and just smiled (Trojans fans were so laid back in those days).

I’ve had much better experiences with Florida fans than many. It’s your job as a UGA fan to hate UF but their fans are way better than Miami, Clemson, FSU, or GT.
