To be fair, the Director's Cup covers a really wide range of sports, most of which nobody on TD gives a shite about. Look at Stanford, they've won it virtually every year on the strength of water polo, men's gymnastics, and other sports where they field teams but there aren't a lot of other universities competing. Given the demographics of this board, it's not a relevant metric of success in collegiate athletics.

True. but most people on TD don't care anything about WBB or baseball, either.

Except that we are (until baseball is figured in) the #1 team in the SEC and we compete primarily in sports that the rest of the SEC competes in.

There is a great chance that Florida and one or two other schools (LSU, maybe?) will pass us. Congratulations. LSU has had a great run of athletics this year.

I am merely pointing out that Georgia is obviously more than a one trick pony. It's stupid for people to even insinuate that.

Georgia fans quite insecure because football is all they are good at.
