I give 2010 a bit of a pass. Alabama got so good, so fast, that the program wasn’t completely established yet. His first recruiting class was still juniors or sophomores and the losses were to very tough, talented teams with a huge target on Bama’s back. They didn’t yet know how to be a defending national champion. And the QB was Greg McElroy. That team still had a lot of Mike Shula residuals in key positions.

Y'all got shredded by Stephen Garcia in 2010, that wasn't a very tough, talented team.

by 2010 most shula guys were gone, shula guys were the heart and soul of our 08 and 09 teams. 2010 team was ready to get paid, period, plus had some young guys not ready to play yet. ALso bama played seven teams coming off bye weeks, that hurt us maybe more than anything. The SEC fixed that crap..
