Definitely Saban’s worst coaching job of his Bama tenure. Some like to point out that we lost 2 road games on the last play but we also won several games that could have easily been lost.

Talent scattered all over but it did not gel into a complete team. Core pieces were missing like an OL that was not at an upper SEC level, abysmal WR development, and a defense that lacked any sense of identity from getting used to Bryce Young bailing them out. Blaming coordinators is just an easy scapegoat. Even if they sucked, thats still on Saban.

I think age is starting to show a little but this coming year will be the real test of whether last year was a fluke. Even with the departures, Bama is still easily the most talented West team.

I think 2010 was by far his worst season at Bama.

This is the same Coach Saban that fired his OC a week before the title game. Coaching is just as much a part of the math as talent and always will be. Pete Golding was finally let go after 5 years of subpar coaching because and only because we hit the saturation point.

Talent vs results just became overwhelming. Even for Coach Saban's ego.
