Any officiating is open for cheating so why single out gymnastics or ice skating? It's no "easier" than other sports, look at the PP7 interception etc. The umps in baseball this year are far more eratic than what I've seen in gymnastics.

Well it simple in baseball, basketball and football you can overcome terrible officiating and still win the game. In gymnastics and figure skating you cannot. If those officials are cheating or scoring poorly, your team has a zero percent chance to win no matter what they do during their routines. In the other sports you still can win the game.

Exactly. It’s been done in the olympics, for heavens sake. Multiple times.

Oh my mistake, I didn't realize that LSU overcame the PP7 interception and went on to win the Nation Championship.

It doesn't matter the sport, if the officials decide to screw you, you get screwed.

But enough of this
