According to some of the new information released Miller and an unknown person is in Miller's vehicle facing away from anything going on. The Jeep pulls up behind them. The shooting starts and two bullets strike Miller's car.

If Johnson turns out to be the aggressor or even if not shouldn't charges against him be made?

If he turns out to be the aggressor, yes.

Having said that, remember the same evidence that let the DA/LE very quickly say with certainty Brandon Miller was innocent of wrongdoing is driving the charging decisions of the others involved.

Eh. A super drunk guy that you had an argument with 5 minutes ago was approaching your vehicle with a firearm. That’s a layup self defense argument

Unless it becomes very clear that he pulled up to the scene looking to restart the fight, no way he gets charged

Really sounds like self defense too me.

(Self defense for Miles/Davis)

When you cut your lights off that means you are ready to SLIDE on somebody.

It should be deemed that way.

He should be charged with something.

Why haven't they recovered the other gun?

Thanks for starting a separate thread instead of asking this in the Bball thread.

Attempted murder.

Actually, don't know about Alabama law, but if his actions are proven to have led to the girl's death, maybe even a second degree murder charge, if his actions are shown to be what directly led to her death.
