He sounds like a good up and comer. Might of been the next Bama DC after Steele but he would of had some work to do to earn it.
Armstrong last served as the defensive coordinator at Southern Miss from 2021-22. In his first season, he was the youngest defensive coordinator in the country. The Golden Eagles ranked 42nd nationally in total defense (357.8 ypg), finishing 18 spots higher than the previous season.
