Now that is just stupid. You can't match any offer, regardless of what you may think. When he's averaging two losses a year and everyone in the Athletic Department and the boosters hate him, because they will; he wears on people and even people here will admit that. He will go to ND. No one can afford to pay him what ND can, private University, own TV contract, huge alumni base. New hire just in time to renew with NBC.

Then he'll go to South Bend and make fun about the Gumps in front of the Indiana media.

he wears on the people that have to deal with him from day to day. He doesn't really wear on fans. He wins and is pretty good with calming fears and looking like he is in control. the fans want to keep him but admins and players get worn out after a while. Eventually you have to see saban for what he is. He is a hired gun not a long term guy. He comes in and fixes shite quick and makes it better than he got there. He then leaves for a new spot.

Just because you are afraid of Saban doesn't mean he's gonna leave.

Alabama football makes a bundle of money and it doesn't matter what ND can offer him (if they offer), it matters how much they're willing to spend.

I'm sure CNS will eventually leave. But for the meantime, he isn't leaving anytime soon.....despite the prayer vigils being held by our rivals. Another stadium expansion will start at the end of this season as well as other upgrades to the athletic dept. All of this is due to revenue generated by having CNS as our coach. CNS will be around for at least 4-5 more years....and retire from coaching when he decides to leave the UofA. Even then, i suspect he will take over as our AD.
