Ok? So did Anthony “freak” Johnson. So have a lot of other 8th graders.

As of now, seeing both throw, Nuss has more natural arm talent than Howard, which is what the coaches think too and why Howard is leaving. The rest of Howard’s tools are TBD. He’s 18 and has taken a handful of college snaps, you have no idea how good he is

And Kiffin could also sign another kid out of the portal next year better than Howard. He could sign a 5 star out of high school. Dart could stay on through 2024. Time will tell. Several months ago, Howard was apparently going to play here 4 years and he the next Burrow. Now he’s transferring because he’s still 3rd string.

Just think about all the QBs here who were supposed to be awesome but never were here or anyone else? There are multiple QBs like Howard in every recruiting cycle. Most don’t end up stars, which is why you try to sign kids like him every year.
