I've always considered UGA as a blue blood. I don't think there's a such thing as a modern blue blood since the term indicates a consistent history of success

Another word you don't know the meaning of.
Blue bloods are the teams that built college football into what it is today. In order to be a blue blood, you basically had to be a good team with a big falling in the 60's and 70's as the sport was coming up giving it national attention, the TV contracts that followed, etc.
There are 8 blue bloods, and that list is never going to change, regardless of how those teams perform.
Stop taking it personal that your team isn't a blue blood. It really doesn't even mean that much. It has no bearing on future success, or anything like that. Recent history is a much bigger factor.
