Saban’s record will probably never be broken, however he’s been at Alabama for 21 seasons, and is 71 years old. Kirby’s coached at Georgia for 7 seasons, and is 47.
So, while the dynasty currently belongs to Alabama, time is on Kirby’s side now.
Will he do it? Impossible to know. He’s had a good start. The playoff format is about to change. No telling how that will play out?
