Most schools collective/booster clubs guarantee players a certain amount. Texas Tech guarantee’s every football player and women’s basketball player $25,000. SMU guarantee’s every football and basketball player $36,000. Texas is giving every offensive lineman $50,000. Last year I think OU guaranteed $40,000 and this year it will probably be more. Every school has a collective/booster club that bundles the money to pay players. Blue blood schools collective will be bigger and be able to pay players more.
Not sure what Mizzou’s is, but it’s not $36k. This year at least 30 players didn’t get $36k at Mizzou. Hyrin White left Mizzou and signed with SMU and he will get more guaranteed money.
Kobe Brown may get less than bench players on Texas Tech women’s basketball team.
