I believe he’s just going off of On3’s valuation which is a projection. It may be accurate for some, but it’s like googling a celebrity’s net worth - it will be way off for many if they don’t want the info to be public

Part of it goes by how many people follow them on social media and their popularity. Devyn Butler is not as popular as Horn, but Butler is set to make $62k with no advertising and Horn $58k. Butler has 108k followers on social media and Horn has 14.2k. Horn gets more per follower and advertising, but because Butler has 94k more followers the amount of money they make evens out.

Each team gets a certain amount for gaming(which isn’t very much). Players like Burden with a higher roster value will get more money and players at skill positions will get more than lineman.

Alabama, Georgia, OU and other Blue Blood school’s will get more money than Mizzou, because they are Tier 1 teams. There are 4 tiers and the tier levels mainly go by top 25 finishes over a 10 year period and the teams popularity. The bottom players at OU will get more money than some starters and almost all of the 2 deep players at Mizzou.

Its not hard to figure social media and gaming. Advertising and promo’s is little harder. But it’s not hard to find out what players are getting for advertising.

Another factor is where you went to high school. Some top programs like St. John Bosco are already getting NIL money and some of that will follow them when they go to college.

If we want Mizzou players to make more money follow them all on social media. Most of our players have less than 20,000 followers. Burden has 70k, Wease has 65k, and Hopper only has 13k. Lovett has 8.5k followers we will see how much that goes up now that he is at Georgia.

On3 estimated value will be close to what each player will get. That’s why it is a estimated value. How much players make will go up and down depending on social media followers.

Most of Burden, Hopper, Lovett’s
