Anyone remember John Ritter? He died from a heart defect. He could have had surgery to correct the defect, but he didn't even know he had one. That is why it is worth it to get your annual checkup and even that might not help find something like he had. Any time you go to a doctor you should ask questions about anything that is new or abnormal to you and any new ideas to help keep you healthy. Not all doctors are good. That is why I change doctors when he isn't knowledgeable about somethings. Get a second opinion and a third opinion if needed.
