All coaches can be. That's part of coaching.



I read some of this and saw former players blasting this kid for putting stuff out there like this. One person said that he was hurt during practice and the former staff stated a lot worse to him while down on the field.


And I don't think Leach was referring to physical toughness.

I largely agree. It’s just a fact of the way groups of people have to function that the underlings are required to take the boss’s abuse at times and cannot reciprocate. It’s not oppression or injustice; it’s just group dynamics and the structure of organizations. There are major breaches that need the whistle blown sometimes, but calling you weak is not one of those breaches. Dillon shouldn’t have done that.
