Sorry for pushing the portal stuff as hard as I am. I'm not trying to minimize what he's done this year at all. I just think it should be noted that he's doing this in a different era than those other coaches in their first years. We all need to remember context.

Even in this new era, Kelly has done an admirable job. It's tough coming to a new program and having to rebuild and get the team working together so quickly to win games. His years of coaching experience have certainly helped. I don't think a first time head coach would have been as successful as he has been this season. He'll be a contender in the West for years to come.
