Depends on who plays QB for Clemson.

Dabo has said Klubnik will start but I think Clemson could win it with DJ.

I think Klubnik is a difference maker and us not having Hooker is another difference maker. The Vandy game didn't tell us much beyond our offense can score. (Vandy had been getting better and playing fairly decent D but we still carved them up but we did it differently).

Thing is we refused to run Milton during the Vandy game because his backup has a broken collar bone and so the two QBs that remain behind him aren't great. They started the year 4th and 5th string and are suddenly 2nd and 3rd.

Watching the Vandy game, was also like watching a season opener before a big game. I thought it was strange at the time because I didn't realize the backup situation because you'd have sworn they were protecting the playbook. It was as vanilla as hell. And it was a nasty rainy game where there was no real reason to push the offense through the air.

So with that in mind I don't think we know what we have yet. Joe can throw a 80 yard TD but he can also overthrow balls (we might not be fair to him on this bc Hooker overthrow balls too -- it's just that's what people remember of the first few games he started but they don't remember the WR drops or that we were replacing pretty much the entire WR corps).

So do we get a lot of miscues or not? And even if we do get those overthrows can we still score? I think we can. Heupel is just too damned good not to find a way to score *but* will it be enough against a Clemson team that is in the opposite situation and finally found it's QB.

Our defense isn't good against the pass. It is stout against the run but you can throw on us all day. Last game, we had 4 DBs out and we didn't feel it since we held Vandy to 0.

And another question... I don't know how many opt outs we're going to have and at what positions. I wouldn't be surprised if Tillman (heh) skips it since he's been hurt all season long. I hope that Hyatt plays and McCoy. It's hard to tell since we basically saw Squirrel White at WR all game vs. Vandy.

How do your opt outs and injuries look?
