I will say that the one thing the Big Ten and the SEC have in common is the TV markets, but even those don’t matter as much now with streaming and national broadcast. It’s more about the appeal and popularity of a particular program. I mean hardly anyone lives in Alabama, but they have a national following.

Let us forget the money and TV. Wouldn't you rather watch Alabama vs Ohio State than Alabama vs UCLA or UAB?
