Sitting here with my old man (AU 1969) Drinking Highland Gaelic Ale (Asheville, NC) at our farm in Western NC. Chock full of leftovers from yesterday. Moved some antique cars around today, and putting 4 in the local Christmas parade tomorrow
Roux is in the oven for gumbo, and smoked turkey stock is ready to go. After trying every variation of turkey soup out of leftovers, I long ago decided Gumbo is the way

Where is this farm? I live at lake norman but have been looking at some land in the SC mountains just south of Asheville. Nc mountains work for me but my wife wants a quick route to ATL.
