Pruitt was a great DC, and I'd be tickled pink to see him back at Bama. However, he was good for one or two head-scratchers a year from a defensive standpoint (Ole Miss and Arkansas 2016, Colorado State 2017 as examples). He modified Saban's defense to be more attacking in various areas, but that also sometimes led to big plays by the opposing team.
