I keep seeing and hearing Tennessee fans say that we played our best game of the year Saturday and they played their worst. Firstly I believe that a good performance by one team causes a bad performance by the other. But was the Tennessee game the best we played or was it Oregon?

Right off the bay if you said “2 fumbles” I’d say that’s not our best game

There's no way it isn't oregon, and that'd be the case even if they wre 4-4 instead of being in the top 10. I think we scored TDs on our first 7 possessions. Had 2 picks. Allowed zero TDs. I mean it was complete and utter domination on both sides of the ball for 4 quarters. Probably one of the most complete overall games we've ever played when taking into account quality of opponent, I mean I don't see how it couldn't be.

I had forgotten how much I hate UT. They get a beat down and still running their mouths. It was not our best game and we didn't play our best. That game was headed towards an Oregon style beatdown. Vols were saved by the rain. If we play them again we need to beat the everlivinshite out of them.....again.

After watching again, I’d say that the Vols had their chances and missed them.

3 long passes to wide open TN receivers missed and the Int by Ringo. This isn’t to mention not converting a turnover to start the game.

Also, Stet tossed an easy INT on the 2nd drive that was dropped.

Certainly not our best game. Oregon was to date simply because they had no answers even though they did move the ball.

This is true. But hitting wide open deep balls isn't as easy when your head is on a swivel. We hit Hooker early, often, and from everywhere.
