If you guys lose many more juniors than Young, Gibbs, & Anderson are you expecting next year to be a massive rebuild year. Looking at some projections for early departures could have as many as 17 starters leaving? That’s a lot to replace.

Given that would think it’s absolutely imperative to switch those coordinators.

How good or bad next year will be will be based on how good Ty Simpson ends up being or how good a new OC can make Milroe in one offseason. I don't really like where we are at ILB but we will at least have talent like we are used to at most of the other positions.

I don't know how much it will matter if Golding is still there.

He is awful.

I mean, every season has the potential to be when you're losing a ton of guys early.

This and coordinator turnover is a symptom of success in the SEC (for all of us).

I've always thought it really helps to have one or two leaders come back on each side of the ball. Not sure who that would be on this team, though.

Hell, at this point, I don't think we even know who the QB is going to be. It might be someone we haven't even considered. Sign of the times, I guess.

We've won titles or gone to the title game in years that I thought were rebuilds, and watched from home years that I thought we'd be great.

God willing, we'll be watching camp to see how our new offensive and defensive coordinators are doing things. Until then, who knows.

Turner on defense, Brooks ideally on offense but we will see.

You have, and have had, based on the so-called "Recruiting Class Rankings", top 3 class talent every year for years. Unless you're saying a lot of this talent has not worked out then it goes back to what I've thought for years. Nick was smart enough and had the finances to hire top-notch coordinators. Those are getting thin and harder to find now, and with kids chasing NIL money the landscape has changed entirely. Think it's time for Saban to hang it up and be proud of the best coaching record in college football history. He doesn't need this pressure any more, and I'm quite sure he can afford retirement.

Ohio St and Georgia have recruited as well as Bama for years. Georgia looks to be on a run for at least the short term, Ohio St is always good but doesn't always make the playoff. Sometimes eval doesn't work out, you have a bad run recruiting certain positions, etc.
