My nephew met him in the bookstore around Mr. Trippi's 90 bday. My nephew was wearing his 62 peewee jersey that day so Charley told him several stories from his days with the Dawgs and Cardinals. Ment so much to my nephew when he got his bulldog a couple years later he named him Charley.

Oh no. May he rest in peace. I waited on him back when I used to work at Athens Country Club as a student.

Kirby visited Trippi during his birthday last December admist the title run. A small but special footnote to the 2021 season. DGD RIP
